If you can't go home, go BIG is turning into a theme this year. This move has been so different from previous ones. Everything is going faster, and while it has been an incredibly hard year, overall there was less time spent in the doldrums than I am used to with a big move.
Like my fabulous birthday, Easter turned into another cracker of a celebration that was just so much better than I expected it to be.
Back home we go camping with dear, dear friends at the Easter holidays. This Easter we
Dyed eggs - a tradition I love, yet could rarily find the supplies for in Sydney.
The sun shining through his cute ears, and lighting up each tiny hair got me.
We went to church. Somehow this selfie is the best family photo I've seen in awhile. Love it!
We hung out by the pool. It was glorious.
We entertained caterpillars.
And, uh, we hung out with alligators, because that's part of Easter tradition, right?
Of course we hunted eggs, and ate chocolate, and had some lovely time with friends. I've got to say that hanging with gators was the highlight. In fact, I wonder if I can find some white porcelain baby gators to mix in with my bunnies for next year's Easter decor? I'd like to make this a tradition. It turns out, life is pretty awesome, anywhere we are!
We haven't made it down to see the gators yet! Thanks for sharing your pictures!
