"I don't know who my audience is, or what I'm writing about." I say into my husband's chest. He knows that so many of the bloggers I love, who started small, are all grown up and glossy now with multi-author platforms, hefty corporate partners, and book deals.
"Just write what you write, share who you are. Don't leave."
I'll keep doing what I'm doing. I'll just be me, because I don't want to invest in transforming my blog in that way, and thought I should probably bow out if I'm not working to make it bigger and better, but I would miss writing here. So I'll be okay with writing about two posts a month with questionable picture quality, and a roaming array of topics. I'll stay, and just be me.
In other news, it is much too cold here. Our baseline question for determining places we will live is "can palm trees grow there?". If yes, then we can too. We are not cold-weather people. We spent the holidays in Nashville where it was around freezing most of the time. We imagined returning to balmy Houston, but late December- mid Febuary brings cold winds, and we've had several overnight dips below freezing.
I mean, on the scale of COLD is can hardly qualify, but I feel cold nearly all the time. I don't like feeling cold.
So, hot drink in hand, I'll be back, plonking away at these keys, saying stuff!
As one of your faithful readers, I am glad to hear it!

Glad to hear you'll be sticking around! I have one of those tiny blogs hiding in the corners of the interwebs with no designs on ever growing. :)
